Two real estate trades squashed sales records, ONE Sotheby’s International Realty announced Tuesday.
A multifamily building at 1023 SW Sixth Court in Little Havana traded for $10.7 million and a commercial property at 3630 NE First Court in the Design District sold for $7 million, according to a news release from ONE Sotheby’s International Realty.
At $263 per square foot, the multifamily property — named Miramar Apartments — marked the most expensive per square foot sale in Little Havana. Burke Leighton Asset Management bought the 44-unit building, built in 2003.
The Design District property, which currently operates as a Kidco Daycare School, sold for $773 per square foot, the highest price in the district since 2007. According the release, the buyer — whose name ONE Sotheby’s International Realty declined to release and is not yet available in public property records — plans to turn the property into a retail location.
