Real estate talks this week highlight design trends and market conditions.

July 28

The Miami Association of Realtors will host the free webinar “Farming for listings” from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. , hosted by Mark Weithorn, president of the real estate website design firm DPI Showcase. Weithorn will discuss how and where Realtors can search for new listings to represent through sales statistics, inventory levels and social media. RSVP here.

Friends of the Underline will host the free webinar “Miami Voices Living, Together” from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. The host and founder of the podcast Urblandia, Andrew Quarrie, will lead a discussion about design trends and resiliency for housing. Panelists include Hernan Guerrero, owner of the Miami-based Geo-Urban Consulting, and Juan Mullerat, founding principal of the Miami-based Plusurbia Design. RSVP here.

The South Florida chapter of the commercial real estate association NAIOP will host the free webinar “NAIOP South Florida’s mid-year market update” from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. The speakers will discuss how the pandemic has impacted the supply chain, demand and expectations for the coming months. Christopher Thomson, Cushman & Wakefield executive director for industrial real estate, will moderate the discussion among Current Builders Chief Financial Officer Federick Colandreo, Cushman & Wakefield Managing Director Ryan Holtzman and JLL South Florida Managing Director for the industrial branch Brian Smith.
