It’s only fitting that at a time when LeBron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers are busy trying to win the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors, James is severing one of his last big ties to Miami.
James has finally sold his Coconut Grove home, his base during four years with the Miami Heat, for close to its $15 million asking price.
The sale is pending, meaning that James accepted an offer and a purchase contract has been signed.

The listing was quietly pulled off the website of Opulence International Realty over the weekend. Tomi Rose, the Realtor who’s got LeBron’s house, isn’t returning calls.
James wanted $17 million, but the price for 3590 Crystal View Court was reduced earlier this year.
The buyer hasn’t been identified.
