The 57-story beachfront tower was developed by Fortune International Group and designed by the Swiss firm of Herzog & de Meuron, which is also responsible for the Perez Art Museum Miami and the 1111 Lincoln Road parking garage.
The magazine noted that the tapering tower has a footprint in the shape of a parallelogram and sits at an angle to the beach to minimize shadow. It also has underground parking instead of an above-ground podium, allowing lush plantings and massive trees around the base.
Jade Signature is one of only two residential towers on Dezeen’s list, which also include Three World Trade Center in Manhattan and office towers in San Francisco, Singapore, and several Chinese cities.
