Guess who popped up in the leaked DNC emails? Two Miami developers
Miami mega-developers Craig Robins and Jackie Soffer were named in the collection of emails involving the Democratic National Committee, according to The Real Deal.
The email between DNC members discussed vetting the spouses to host President Barack Obama during a trip to Miami, the report said.
The email brings up concerns about past litigation. Robins passed the vetting process but Soffer did not, The Real Deal reported. Neither Robins nor Soffer were aware of the emails or vetting process.
Robins, the CEO of Dacra since 1987, has undertaken projects on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach and Miami’s Design District. Soffer helps lead Turnberry Associates, which oversees the Aventura Mall, Fontainebleau and other projects.
The WikiLeaks saga exploded Monday with the release of emails that detailed the party’s focus on Hillary Clinton in the primary and forcing party leader Debbie Wasserman Schultz to step down
