Heico Corporation acquired another aviation-related company this week, the second so far this year.

The technology company, which has headquarters in Miami and Hollywood, said Monday that it had completed the acquisition of 80.1 percent of the equity of Arizona-based Harter Aerospace.

Financial terms were not released.

Harter, which has about 75 employees, is a component and accessory maintenance, repair and overhaul station that specializes in commercial aircraft accessories. Company leaders will remain in place and no changes are expected for employees or customers, Heico said.

Last month, the South Florida company said that it had acquired the majority of Dutch business Aeroworks International Holdings, which makes parts for aircraft interiors.

Heico manufactures replacement parts for airplanes and components for the space, defense, communications, medical and computer industries.
