Frontier adding Miami-Atlanta flights

A month after starting service at Miami International Airport, Frontier Airlines has announced it is adding another route.

Frontier said Monday that daily nonstop flights between Miami and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport are scheduled to start on March 6. It will be the sixth route for the low-cost carrier out of MIA.

In December, Frontier started flights from Miami to Denver, Philadelphia, Chicago, New York and Washington Dulles. Once the Atlanta service begins, Denver-based Frontier will have 47 weekly flights out of Miami.
