Tourism still sunny in Florida
Tourists seem to love the Sunshine State.
Florida broke another tourism record in the first quarter, attracting 29.8 million tourists, an increase of 4.8 percent over the same period in 2015, Gov. Rick Scott announced Monday.
During January through March, a record 25.6 million domestic visitors traveled to Florida, up 6.6 percent over 2015, according to preliminary data from Visit Florida, the state's official tourism marketing corporation.
