Event explores ‘the new Doral’ real estate scene

Developers and Doral experts will discuss the city of Doral’s rapid economic, real estate and commercial growth Thursday at a Miami Herald event.

Panelists include Oswaldo P. Betancourt, executive vice president of development and construction at Codina Partners, developer of Downtown Doral; George Jalil, broker-president of Doral-based Real Living First Service Realty; Juan Carlos Marchan, vice president and partner of Centurion Restaurant Group; Steve Patterson, president and CEO of Related Development, developer of CityPlace Doral; Manual Pila, economic developer for the city of Doral; Sergio Pino, founder and president of Century Homebuilders Group, LLC, developer of Midtown Doral; and Doral Councilwoman Ana Maria Rodriguez.

The presentation, at the Midtown Doral development, is geared toward real estate professionals, investors and home buyers. It runs 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. A limited number of free tickets are available; registration is required by emailing eventinfo@miamiherald.com.
