JetBlue’s ‘Mint’ service coming to Fort Lauderdale next year
Now this could make flying fun again: Some JetBlue Airways passengers in Fort Lauderdale will be able to get seats that lie flat, 15-inch TVs, private suites, cocktails, espresso, a tapas-style menu, travel kits by Birchbox and dessert from Mah-ze-Dahr Bakery and Blue Marble ice cream. They'll also get a dedicated check-in line, early boarding and two free checked bags.
The business-class kind of service is called Mint, and it will be introduced in 2017 on flights from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport to Los Angeles and San Francisco.
