Florida added 18,600 private-sector jobs in March, up from 14,400 a year ago, payroll company ADP said Wednesday.
The bulk of the jobs were in trade, transportation and utilities, which includes retail jobs. In the construction category, the state added 2,600 jobs. Another 1,800 jobs were added in professional and business services, as well as 100 in manufacturing.
