Broward College opens Innovation Hub

At an open house on Thursday, Broward College celebrated the opening of its new Innovation Hub, a 5,400 square-foot facility open to the public that aims to be an incubator for startup companies and a one-stop resource for innovators and small business owners.

The Innovation Hub at Broward College also announced a partnership with the Fort Lauderdale Strikers, and a portion of Innovation Hub will be dedicated to sports-related startups. Brazilian soccer legend Ronaldo, who is a part-owner of the Strikers, joined Broward College officials, along with Director of the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity Jesse Panuccio and other local business leaders for a tour of the business incubator and discussion on possible opportunities.
