Another 81,500 Citizens policies approved for takeout

The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation has approved 81,500 property insurance policies for transfer from state-run Citizens Property Insurance Corp. to private market insurers.

Heritage Property & Casualty has been approved to remove up to 55,000 personal residential policies and up to 1,500 commercial residential policies. Southern Oak has been approved to remove up to 15,000 personal residential policies, and Anchor Property & Casualty has been approved to remove up to 10,000 personal residential policies.
