New dining options to open at Fort Lauderdale airport
Travelers craving Cuban or Bahamian bites are in luck at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
The airport will hold a grand opening event for three new island-inspired restaurants in Terminal 4’s Concourse H on Wednesday at 11 a.m. The dining areas have already been open at limited capacity, according to an airport spokesman.
Celebrating their official opening are Casavana Cuban Cuisine Restaurant, a full-service option serving breakfast, lunch and dinner; Casavana Café, which offers hot Cuban meals to go and Kafé Kalik, featuring Bahamian dishes such as conch chowder.
Hospitality companies Delaware North and Superior Hospitality Group are opening the venues.
