Spirit posts higher 4Q profit of $74M; revenue also rises

Low-cost carrier Spirit Airlines reported a 33.1 percent increase in fourth-quarter profit driven in part by an increase in flights.

Spirit posted net income of $74.4 million or $1.04 per share in the quarter compared to a year ago.
