Kate Hudson to headline International Business Woman of the Year Awards

Actress Kate Hudson will be the featured speaker at the Organization of Women in International Trade – South Florida’s 14th Annual International Business Woman of the Year Awards luncheon, an event honoring and celebrating women engaged in international business and international trade.

Next week’s event, in partnership with Books & Books, will feature a lively interview by Lisa Petrillo, entertainment reporter for CBS 4, with Hudson, author of the new lifestyle book, Pretty Happy: Healthy Ways to Love Your Body.

The 14th Annual IBWOY Awards luncheon is Feb. 19 at the Rusty Pelican in Key Biscayne from noon to 2 p.m. The cost of the event is $85 for members and $95 for nonmembers in advance and $105 for all attendees who purchase tickets at the door

This year’s IBWOY Awards Luncheon will bring together more than 300 professional women and men in South Florida to honor this year’s extraordinary honorees. Awards are presented in three categories, Small/Medium Business, Large Business, and Service. Proceeds from this event will fund scholarships for women at South Florida universities studying international business or trade.
