Carnival Corp. expands hybrid Wi-Fi network to more ships

Carnival Corp. & PLC has expanded its new hybrid wireless Internet network to 30 of its 100 ships, the cruise operator said Tuesday.

The new network, dubbed WiFi@Sea, offers speeds of up to 10 times faster than previous systems, the Miami-based cruise company said.
