Suffolk Construction is launching a program that will help it partner with local subcontractors owned by women, minorities, veterans and other under-represented groups in the construction industry.

The program, called the Trades Partnership Series, offers free training, mentorship and networking to companies selected to participate. The deadline to apply is Oct. 16. Applications and additional details are available online at http://www.suffolk.com/trades_partnership_series.html.

The Beacon Council and the Miami-Dade County Small Business Development Division are partnering on the initiative.
