AT&T expands U-verse services in South Florida

AT&T on Wednesday announced the expansion of AT&T U-verse services to nearly 3,000 additional locations in the Fort Lauderdale-Miami area, including nearly 700 new locations in Miami and about 500 new locations in Fort Lauderdale. Services include AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet, AT&T U-verse TV and AT&T U-verse Voice.

The expansion of U-verse services is part of AT&T’s Project VIP, a three-year investment plan to expand and enhance AT&T’s wireless and wireline Internet Protocol (IP) broadband networks, responding to growing demand from customers and new app and cloud services.
