American Airlines to start Miami-Frankfurt flights in May
American Airlines on Monday revealed details about new flights between Miami International Airport and Frankfurt Airport launching next year.
Last month, American Airlines CEO Doug Parker told the Miami Herald that the service would start in the first half of 2015, but the airline did not release more specific information until Monday.
The daily nonstop service will start May 14. American will use a Boeing 767-300 for the flights, which will leave Miami at 2:45 p.m. and arrive in Frankfurt at 6:15 a.m. Flights will leave Frankfurt at 10:30 a.m. and arrive in Miami at 2:55 p.m.
