AT&T on Thursday announced capacity upgrades to 124 cell sites in Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, Martin and St. Lucie counties. More than 80 of the upgraded sites are located in Broward County.
By adding extra capacity to the cell sites, the sites are able to accommodate more traffic, which helps improve the performance of mobile Internet data and voice connectivity for customers, the company said. Since the start of 10`4, AT&T has added extra capacity to nearly 250 cell sites and activated 37 new sites in South Florida.
