Job seekers looking for work in the marine industry can learn about opportunities at an employment fair Thursday, part of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

The event will be held from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center, 1950 Eisenhower Blvd.

More than 20 companies in the marine industry are looking to fill nearly 200 open positions, including crew, administrative workers and those skilled in certain trades.

The Marine Industries Association of South Florida, a trade organization, is coordinating the job fair. More information is available at MIASF.org.
