Sawgrass Mills to further expand
Sawgrass Mills said Monday that it has begun construction on the next expansion of its open-air promenade, the Colonnade Outlets at Sawgrass Mills.
The planned project will include an additional 80,000 square-feet with 30 additional luxury outlet stores and full-service restaurants, which will join a roster of existing brands like Prada, GUCCI, Tory Burch, Burberry and more.
The new expansion follows the 2013 expansion of The Colonnade Outlets at Sawgrass Mills, which added outlet locations from top designer brands, including Versace, Diane Von Furstenberg, Roberto Cavalli and Wolford. The latest expansion will open during 2016 and will be located on the east end near Sawgrass Mills’ Fashion Row.
Overall, Sawgrass Mills, in Sunrise, says it is the largest outlet and value retail shopping destination in the United States, with 350 stores and eateries.
