A University of Miami student and other entrepreneurs from universities throughout the East Coast will meet in Miami Thursday to vie for a chance at $150,000 in prizes as part of the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards competition.
The event will be hosted by Entrepreneurs’ Organization – South Florida, one of the world’s largest EO chapters with about 150 members from Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. The competition will take place at the Dadeland Marriott.
This year’s competitors includes University of Miami student Connor Masterson of Jobly, and Tatiana Arslanouk of Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne for Tarnish-Me-Not. Other schools represented include the University of Texas, Georgia Tech, University of Tennessee, Belcont University and University of South Carolina.
