Miami-based CAO Bakery is opening a second location in Pembroke Pines
The bakery and cafe will take over the former home of Char-Hut, a family-owned burger restaurant that closed in 2025 after 30 years. CAO will open in July at 12221 Taft St.
CAO was founded in 2018 by third-generation Cuban baker Tony Cao as an offshoot of his grandfather’s popular Miami eatery, Vicky Bakery.
