Those Bed Bath & Beyond 20% off coupons are coming back. Here’s where to use them
Still have a batch of Bed Bath & Beyond coupons tucked in a drawer somewhere?
They may be collecting dust since your neighborhood store closed, seemingly for good, in 2023 after a company bankruptcy.
But those 20% off coupons to buy Bed Bath & Beyond products — towels, bedsheets and kitchen and grooming gadgets — are coming back, and so is the brand name. The brand will live inside locations of The Container Store starting this summer.
In April, Beyond Inc. parent company of Bed Bath & Beyond, announced plans to do business inside the 100 existing Container Stores, including Florida’s eight locations, fitting in merchandise from the once popular BB&B chain.
The new merch mix is expected by July, and storefronts and signs will reflect the rebranded arrangement between The Container Store and the Bed Bath & Beyond with a joint logo.
To make way for this “Store Changing” co-branding, Beyond Inc. is resetting floor plans at The Container Store locations to integrate Bed Bath & Beyond Products. They need to sell off about 30% of its existing items like stackable bins, garbage cans and organizers to make room, so that’s why there are 60% off tags on numerous items.
Call the rebranding a “combined in-store experience,” according to Jen Pape, senior vice president of The Container Store. “A reset with purpose,” she said in a statement.
Beyond Inc. has acquired The Container Store, as well as Elfa and Closet Works. The company also recently acquired Kirkland’s.
“We are actively reshaping our stores to make room for what’s next,” Pape said.

What happened to the original Bed Beth & Beyond?
The once ubiquitous Bed Bath & Beyond, with its blue coupon mailers and newspaper inserts, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2023, and shuttered stores nationwide. South Florida lost many of the state’s 41 stores, including locations at Dadeland Station and the Miami International Mall area, as well as in Kendall, Fort Lauderdale, Sunrise, Hialeah and on Coral Way a few miles north of Coral Gables.
What about the coupons?
Container Store president Amy Sullivan told Axios that the dual-branded company is reviving its 20% off coupons, which will be “accepted across its brands as it rebuilds its store presence.”
But can you use your old coupons you still have around your home? The company hasn’t said yet, although past store practice was to accept expired coupons.
