Need a last-minute ingredient for your Easter gathering? Take note: Some supermarkets in South Florida are closed for the holiday.
Although Publix is closed on Easter Sunday, April 5, Winn-Dixie, Milam’s and other grocery stores are open. Convenience stores and gas station minju-marts are generally open as well.
Here’s a look at what supermarkets in Miami-Dade and Broward are open or closed on Easter:
Supermarkets
- Publix: Closed.
- Walmart/Sam’s Club: Walmart stores will be open regular hours; Sam’s Club closed.
- Costco: Closed.
- Target: Closed.
- Winn-Dixie: Open regular hours.
- Aldi: Closed.
- Milam’s Markets: Open regular hours.
- Sedano’s Supermarket: Open.
- Presidente Supermarket: Open.
- Price Choice Supermarket: Open; but some locations may close at 2 p.m.
- BJ’s Warehouse Club: Open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- The Fresh Market: Open regular hours.
- Whole Foods Market: Most stores in South Florida open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., but several will close at 6 p.m., including the Pinecrest area location at 7930 SW 104th St.
- Trader Joe’s: Open.
- Sprouts Farmers Market: Open.
