Want to save money at the grocery store? See deals at South Florida supermarkets

“Grocery prices are so high!”

Well, yeah. We hear you. That’s why BOGOs, an acronym for buy one-get one free, is our favorite word these days as we stroll the aisles of our South Florida Publix, Winn-Dixie, Milam’s Market and other grocery stores.

Some forsake BOGOs in favor of slashing cents or dollars off select items. Others, like Whole Foods, offer deals for members of its discount programs.

Publix recently had a BOGO on Nature’s Bounty brand 90-count Magnesium Glycinate capsules. That saved a shopper $26 with the “get one free” bottle.

Who doesn’t like a good deal at the supermarket?

So, let’s see what some of your favorite grocery stores have on sale this coming week. This list doesn’t include discount markets such as Costco, Walmart and Aldi.

Here’s a sampling of what we found:

Publix deals

Publix BOGOs are open to all customers but Club Publix members get tailored alerts via email or app based on their buying habits when paying with the app. That’s how we find out our supplements were a must-get that week.
