Need a job? Companies looking to hire will be at the Florida Panthers arena

More than a hundred companies looking to hire will be under one roof in Broward.

The Mega Job Fair runs 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28 at Amerant Arena, 1 Panther Parkway in Sunrise, near the Sawgrass Mills mall.

Recruiters will be looking for workers in healthcare, trades, customer service, sales, logistics, government and other career areas.

Companies expected to be there include the Florida Panthers and Amerant Bank Arena, Kelly Education, Honey Baked Ham, Life Alert, the Miami Dolphins, Princess Cruise Line, New York Life Insurance and radio stations including Hot 105.

Local government agencies recruiting at the fair include the cities of Sunrise and Boca Raton, the Seminole Police Department and the U.S. Postal Service.

Admission and parking are free.

Organizers suggest you bring multiple copies of your résumé, come prepared with questions and dress professionally.
