Publix just opened 8 new grocery stores — and more are on the way. See locations
Publix is opening several new grocery stores in August and September. This comes after a burst of openings over the summer, including two locations in Broward County.
Here’s a look at what’s coming and what recently opened:
Florida openings
Publix opened eight stores in June and July, including four Florida locations:
Fort Lauderdale: 2985 N. Ocean Blvd., across the street from the beach, opened June 19, 29,495 square feet
Pompano Beach: 3435, N. Federal Hwy., opened June 26, 48,387 square feet
Bradenton: 6030 14th St. W., opened July 19, 54,964 square feet
Port St. Lucie: 12407 SW Community Blvd., opened July 19, 48,387 square feet
Other stores opened over the summer in Brookhaven, Georgia; Meridianville, Alabama; Foley, Alabama; and Lexington, Kentucky

Opening soon
Publix plans to open four new locations in August and September, but none in Florida.
Locations: Raleigh, North Carolina, Aug. 27; Garner, North Carolina, Aug. 30; and two in Louisville, Kentucky, Sept. 3 and Sept. 6.
