Dadeland Mall’s new stores include Miami firsts and chance for a dash and grab

Dadeland Mall’s dozen 2025 newcomers launched with the February opening of the first Dick’s House of Sport in South Florida and continues with Saturday’s Memorial Day weekend grand opening of Florida’s first Princess Polly, an Instagrammable fashion shop.

Several more stores are due in the summer and fall.

Here’s what to expect.

Princess Polly launch party

Princess Polly, a trendy fashion boutique aimed at young women influencers began as an online retailer from a beachside apartment on Australia’s Gold Coast in 2010. The first brick and mortar store in the U.S. opened in Los Angeles in 2023 and based its headquarters in California. The Dadeland Mall opening in Kendall on May 17 begins the chain’s expansion into other cities including New York.

When: Princess Polly’s launch party starts at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 24.

Where: Line up at the mall entrance by Macy’s Fashion, located toward the back of the mall on the canal side, at 7303 North Kendall Dr., so you’re ready to take advantage of the early bird vouchers when doors open.

Perks and prizes:

— First 100 visitors can score an exclusive Miami hoodie.

— First 250 visitors get an instant win scratch card that could win you a $1,000 Princess Polly wardrobe, mystery prizes, up to $100 cash off your shopping or a dash and grab like one of those old TV game show routines where you have one minute to grab anything you want for free.

— First 500 visitors snag an exclusive Miami tote bag and sticker.
