Need groceries on Easter? Is Publix open? Walmart? Who’s open and closed

Government offices and many public services don’t operate on Sunday. But on this Easter Sunday, are stores open for business?

Here’s a look at what’s running and what’s not:

Publix: Not only are Publix stores closed on Easter Sunday, but the grocery chain didn’t make its usual weekly change of sales on Thursday. Sales will run until Saturday.

Walmart/Sam’s Club: Walmart stores will be open regular hours, but Sam’s Club locations will be closed.

Costco: All stores closed on Easter.

Target: Target announced in February that its stores will be closed on Easter.

Winn-Dixie: Open regular hours.

Aldi: All stores closed on Easter.

Milam’s Markets: Open regular hours.

Sedano’s Supermarket: Stores open on Easter.

Presidente Supermarket: Stores open on Easter.

Price Choice Supermarket: Like on Thanksgiving and Christmas, stores open on Easter.

BJ’s Warehouse Club: Open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The Fresh Market: Open regular hours.

Whole Foods Market: Most stores in South Florida open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Easter, but 299 SE Third Ave. in downtown Miami will be open 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Trader Joe’s: All stores open on Easter.
