Publix has a cafecito truck? Free coffee rolling on a 2-day Miami tour. Where to find it
Publix is sending its cafecito truck on a two-day “culture and community” tour of the Miami area on Tuesday and Wednesday. Expect samples of coffee, cafecito and pastries, Publix spokeswoman Lindsey Willis said.
The Lakeland-based chain often goes mobile and sends products into neighborhoods on promotional tours. Last summer, the supermarket ran an ice cream truck tour that stopped in Broward and Palm Beach counties to hand out free samples of eight limited-edition flavors.
We didn’t need prodding to try the refreshing Lemon Berry Bliss. And we still occasionally see cartons of Lemon Berry Bliss at the Kendall-area stores. Newer limited edition varieties include Black Swamp Raspberry Cheesecake and Peanut Butter Pie.

▪ Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus at 399 NE First Ave., Miami.
