If you’re looking for some last-minute party food or beer, don’t wait until usual closing time on New Year’s Eve. Some South Florida supermarkets are closing earlier for the holiday.

Here’s what to know about the major grocery chains and drugstores that carry food and drink:

Publix: Open until 9 p.m. New Year’s Eve. Open “adjusted hours” New Year’s Day, so check your location.

Winn-Dixie: Open until 10 p.m. New Year’s Eve. Open regular hours New Year’s Day.

Sedano’s: Open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. New Year’s Eve. Open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. New Year’s Day.

Presidente: Open New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Check your favorite location for hours.

Milam’s Market: Closing at 9 p.m. New Year’s Eve and opening at 9 a.m. New Year’s Day.

Price Choice: Open New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Check your location for hours.

Aldi: Closing at 7 p.m. New Year’s Eve. Closed New Year’s Day.

Walgreens: Regular hours for the store, which stocks food and beer, and photo area. Most pharmacies are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. New Year’s Eve and closed New Year’s Day.

CVS/Navarro: Stores, which carry food and drink, and pharmacies open New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Check with your location.
