Here’s a list on what’s running and what’s not in South Florida on this federal holiday:
Supermarkets
Publix: Closed.
Winn-Dixie: Closed.
Sedano’s: Open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Presidente: Open; call your store for hours.
Milam’s Market: Closed.
Price Choice Supermarkets: Open; call your store for hours.
Aldi: Closed.
The Fresh Market: Closed.
Whole Foods Market: Closed.
Trader Joe’s: Closed.
Family Dollar: Closed.
Walmart Neighborhood Markets: Closed.
NetCost: Open regular hours.
Kosher Kingdom: Open regular hours.
KC Kosher Market: Open regular hours.
Big box stores
Walmart: Closed.
Target: Closed.
Costco: Closed.
BJ’s Wholesale Club: Closed.
Pharmacy chains
Walgreens: Stores open. Different locations have different hours. Most pharmacies closed.
CVS/Navarro: Stores open, some with reduced hours. Most pharmacies closed, but one that will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. is the CVS at Southwest Eighth Street and 57th Avenue.
Shopping malls
Note: Aventura, Dadeland, Sawgrass Mills, Dolphin and other major malls are closed.
Mass transit
Miami-Dade: Metrobus, Metrorail and Metromover will run on a Sunday schedule. Metrolink will not be operating. STS customers can reserve or cancel a trip at 305-871-1111.
Broward: Broward County Transit buses will run on a Sunday schedule. Trip planning help for fixed and TOPS Paratransit routes will be available 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. at 954-357-8400 (TTY 954-357-8302).
Tri-Rail: The rail service will run on its weekend/holiday schedule.
Garbage
Miami-Dade: No garbage or recycling collection.
Miami: No garbage or recycling collection.
Broward: No garbage pickup.
Fort Lauderdale: No garbage, recycling or bulk collections.
U.S. mail
Note: No business other than Priority Mail Express delivery.
County offices, libraries, courts, schools
Miami-Dade: Closed.
Broward: Closed.
