Which grocery stores in Miami are open Christmas Day? What about Publix and Sedano’s?
Need to make a mad dash to the grocery store for a forgotten Christmas or Hanukkah ingredient?
Don’t go to Publix.
Like most major supermarkets, Publix is closed on Dec. 25, along with Winn-Dixie, Aldi and Whole Foods.
But you can find a few stores that are open in South Florida.
Here’s what’s open on Wednesday, which is Christmas Day and the first night of Hanukkah:
Supermarkets open on Christmas Day
Sedano’s: Open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Presidente: Open; call your store for hours.
Price Choice Supermarkets: Open; call your store for hours.
Netcost: At Oakwood Plaza in Hollywood, open regular hours.
Kosher Kingdom: In Aventura, open regular hours.
KC Kosher Market: In Hollywood, open regular hours.
Note: CVS and Walgreens are open Christmas Day and carry limited food.
