The Miami International Auto Show has a new presenting sponsor: Ally Financial.
The automotive financial services company will sponsor the annual event, presented by the South Florida Automobile Dealers Association, through 2016. The arrangement was announced Tuesday.
New to the show this year will be Cars Meet Art, featuring vehicles painted by acclaimed graffiti artists. As part of that exhibit, the Ally Auto Alley allows visitors to “paint” a virtual car that they can show off on social media.
This year’s event, the 44th edition, will be held from Nov. 7-16 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Several hundred new cars from about 40 manufacturers will be on display.
