Ordering Nochebuena or Christmas dinner from Publix, Sedano’s, etc.? Here’s your deadline
What are your plans for Nochebuena this year?
You could always go out to eat or order takeout. But if you’re craving lechón, you might have to make your own meal — or at least heat it up.
And the deadline to place your order at the grocery store is here.
The good news for those of you who don’t like to cook or don’t know how to cook is that a lot of the traditional Christmas favorites are available fully cooked, although heating will be required. The bad news is that if you wait too long, the grocery store might not have what you need.
Here are the deadlines to place your order:
Sedano’s Supermarket
Sedano’s Supermarket has a Nochebuena meal perfect for a large gathering. It’s offering a roasted pork dinner with rice and beans, and sweet plantains or yuca with mojo that can serve 15 people for $99.99 or 10 people for $69.99.
The supermarket is also selling honey-glazed ham at $5.99 per pound, corn bread for $4.99 per pound and a turkey breast for $6.99 per pound. To place your order, visit the hot food section of the store.
Orders are on a first-come, first-served basis at each store, so it’s best to place your order as soon as possible. Sedano’s recommends people place their holiday orders at least three days in advance.
