FAM International, a Fort Lauderdale-based international security solutions company, announced Tuesday that it has opened its state-of-the-art Global Security Operations Center this month.

The Global Security Operations Center, designed and developed by FAM and staffed 24 / 7, includes advanced global client GPS tracking and real-time monitoring platforms to dramatically increase FAM’s capabilities to provide FAM clients with the ability to safely accomplish their travel missions by identifying, detecting, decreasing, and preparing for any potential threats, the company said. “With the current world threats, it further underscores the vital importance and need for risk mitigation and crisis management,” said CEO Brian Leek, who has directed the personal protection efforts for many foreign dignitaries, celebrities and chief officers of numerous multinational corporations.

Founded in 1997, FAM provides services for more than 45 U.S. Fortune 100 companies and many multinational companies from Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Europe, as well as governments and at-risk individuals. FAM has supported projects in over 116 countries, the company said.
