Andy Ansin named CEO of Sunbeam Television; brother James to serve as co-president
The Ansins will keep WSVN Channel 7-parent Sunbeam Television in the family following the recent death of patriarch Ed Ansin.
Andy Ansin, formerly vice president of Sunbeam Properties, will assume the role of CEO. James Ansin, WSVN vice president & station manager since 2004, has been named co-president with Paul Magnes, who has served as executive vice president and general manager since 2018.
The Ansin sons are the third generation to own Sunbeam, following grandfather Sidney D. Ansin and their late father. Sunbeam has been affiliated with Fox news for 31 years; it also owns WHDH-TV and WLVI-TV in Boston.
