Here’s what caused that AT&T problem that messed up your internet and cable

Florida AT&T customers suffering slow or stalled internet should’ve returned to normal by 4 p.m. Thursday, an AT&T spokesman said.

Earlier in the afternoon, the spokesman said in an email to the Miami Herald that repair crews pulled an all-nighter after a road construction crew damaged cable in Jacksonville on Wednesday.

UPDATE: Our technicians have been working around the clock to make repairs to cables damaged by a road crew in the Jacksonville area. As these repairs are being completed service is beginning to restore. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
