CBD pop-up shop comes to Wynwood, bearing art by Shephard Fairey

A pop-up CBD shop is hitting Wynwood.

Charlotte’s Web, a purveyor of cannabidoil, better known as CBD, has opened a temporary storefront at 219 Northwest 23rd Street.

The pop-up will play host to a CBD “swap program,” where attendees will be able to trade in unwanted CBD products for a gift bottle of Charlotte’s Web’s own CBD oil, which retails for $75.

Charlotte’s Web was founded by the seven Stanley brothers of Colorado Springs, Colo., in 2010 after they experimented with CBD to help a young girl with epilepsy. The brothers have since been featured in numerous publications, including the New York Times. One brother, Josh, now lives in Delray Beach, according to a spokesperson.

The Wynwood promotion lasts until February 1. From Feb. 2 onward, the pop-up space will operate “as a full retail, educational, and social experience.”
