Fresh off an announcement about adding service to Ecuador, JetBlue said Monday it will launch flights between Fort Lauderdale and Mexico City this fall.

The low-cost carrier said the daily nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Mexico City International Airport will start Oct. 1. JetBlue will also start daily flights between Mexico City and Orlando International Airport that day.

The airline will use an Airbus A320 for each route.

Just last week, JetBlue said it planned to start service between Fort Lauderdale and Quito, Ecuador in the first quarter of 2016. Those flights are still subject to government approval.
