H&M will bring its fast-fashion offerings to Dolphin Mall this fall.

The Swedish retailer (full name: Hennes & Mauritz) announced the new South Florida location Monday morning.

At about 33,000 square feet, the new store will include clothes for women, men and children as well as an accessories section. The company said it expects to employ 130 people there.

H&M didn’t have any stores in Miami-Dade or Broward until 2012, when the two-story Lincoln Road location opened in Miami Beach. Since then, new branches have opened at Aventura Mall, Pembroke Lakes Mall and Miami International Mall.

The Miami International Mall location at 1455 NW 107th Ave. will remain even though it is a close neighbor of the Dolphin Mall, 11401 NW 12th St. in Sweetwater.

“It is not unusual for us to open two stores in close proximity to each other,” an H&M representative wrote in an email. “Often we have found that this can increase the foot traffic to both stores.”
