AT&T upgrades service in Miami Beach

AT&T activated a new cell site that will provide South Beach residents and visitors with additional 4G LTE coverage and capacity. The new site, located near Collins Avenue and 13th Street, is the second new site AT&T has activated in Miami Beach this year. Additionally, AT&T on Thursday announced it had invested nearly $2.8 billion from 2012-2014 to enhance networks in Florida. Last year, AT&T activated 113 new cell sites statewide, including 37 new sites in South Florida.
