Two new eateries — an island-themed bar and grill and the first U.S. outpost of a Brazilian rodizio chain — are scheduled to open in Miami International Airport’s Central Terminal this year. Both will be located in pre-security areas.
Margaritaville, based on the Jimmy Buffett song, is set to open this summer next to the MIA Hotel lobby. It will replace a sports bar and sushi bar in the Central Terminal; construction is scheduled to start in April.
The first U.S. location of Brazilian chain Viena is scheduled to open on the seventh floor of the MIA Hotel by October after a renovation of the space now filled by the Top of the Port Restaurant. There are more than 90 Viena restaurant locations in Brazil.
IMCMV MIA Airport, a subsidiary of Brazilian restaurant operator IMC, will run both eateries.
