Perry Ellis reaches licensing deal for lingerie
Perry Ellis International will license the rights to distribute its lingerie, loungewear and sleepwear in the U.S. and Canada to Sensual Inc., a division of USA Apparel Group, the Doral-based retailer announced Wednesday.
The company markets its “intimates” collection under the brand-name Rafaella.
Perry Ellis said Tuesday that its revenues for fiscal year 2015 fell $22 million short of projections, largely because of a slowdown at West Coast ports. It has said it will seek new licensing deals as a way to boost earnings.
