Things To Do

Celebrate the holidays like Mariah Carey in Miami Beach. Here’s how

Want to spend the holidays with the unofficial Queen of Christmas herself?

Sorry, Mariah Carey is definitely busy being fabulous somewhere. But you can hang out with a few of her dopplegängers at Ray’s Hometown Bar at the Freehand Miami Hotel.

At Mariah Carey’s Holiday Bar, also in L.A., NYC and Vegas, guests are surrounded by wall-to-wall decor inspired by the pop star. Needless to say, Instagram photo ops are endless at this two-story, immersive glitter-filled wonderland.

Pose next to a lifesize cutout of Carey, or a lit-up background that reads “All I Want for Christmas is You.” Write a letter to the Grammy winner and send it off in a cheery, red mailbox. Groove around the festive space while listening to her tunes on a loop. Or sip on a Make My Wish Come True, an espresso martini made with Carey’s Black Irish creme liqueur, a nod to her mixed heritage. There’s also a mulled wine concoction named after the 1990 classic “A Vision of Love.”

Endless Instagram possibilities await at Mariah Carey’s Holiday Bar at Ray’s Hometown Bar in Miami Beach.

Need a gift for a Mariah superfan? Plenty of merch is also for sale, such as T-shirts that scream “It’s Time!” with Carey looking like a sexy Mrs. Claus. Or shop for vinyl records of some of the 56-year-old’s most iconic albums as well her latest LP release, “Here For It All.”

The popup, an official partnership with Carey, runs through Dec. 28 and is only open to fans 21 and older.
