Models are about to descend on Miami Beach for this popular tourney. Here’s how to go
As if spring break didn’t have enough action.
There’s something else going on in Miami Beach this weekend beside hanging out with friends, day drinking and getting your car towed.
The always popular Model Volleyball, bringing together pros from some of the biggest agencies such as Wilhelmina, Next, Elite and Ford, is back for a milestone 15th anniversary. The free, open to the public, co-ed tournament is sponsored by Elle Swimwear, so that means oodles of skimpy suits, obvio.
“Curated activations” include wellness stations, product giveaways and food and drink samples (think lots of energy drinks) from local eateries as well as national brands. Yes, booze is involved, so 21 and over, please.
As for the guests — you never know what celebs you might rub shoulders with at this thing; Vince Vaughn was spotted while shooting “Bad Monkey” in town back in 2022; “Real Housewives” star Larsa Pippen is a regular; and Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill was responsible for a few impressive spikes last year.
“Whether you’re playing on the court or taking in the action from the sand, expect an incredible weekend filled with top-tier competition, unforgettable experiences, and the best beach vibes Miami has to offer,” said the event’s co-founder Olivia Ormos.
