So, you’re too old to trick or treat door to door, and candy’s not exactly one of your major food groups anymore. But grownups can still manage to have some fun on Halloween, and even dress up — just not in an outfit from Party City. Herewith, a roundup of events for a festively hip, Instagrammable Thursday night out on the town:

Lincoln Road mainstay Issabella’s is offering up a cryptic sounding Whispers of the Cursed Sea dinner. Giselle

Sizzling hotspot Giselle, located on the roof above 24/7 adult megaclub E11EVEN, promises an evening of “mystery, glamour and seduction.” Speaking from experience, we don’t think that’s hyperbole. The Unmask Her Mystery fête will feature two fashion shows (with the very real possibility of lingerie) set to live music, at both 11 p.m. and midnight. If you want to stick with the downstairs fun at E11EVEN, rapper du jour Sexxy Red is on the ticket.

Fancy a few jump scares with your beer? Biscayne Bay Brewing will be transformed into a haunted mansion for the night. Housed in downtown Miami’s first brick-and-mortar post office, the taproom was granted historical landmark status in 1989, and already had eerie vibes from the get-go.
